A description of the ongoing process to make a more open and collaborative environment
Philanthrobotics thrives on collaboration with diverse partner organizations. Our onboarding process is tailored to integrate these partners seamlessly into our ecosystem, ensuring mutual growth and data integrity.
The backbone of our project, data contributors, undergo a comprehensive onboarding process.
This begins with a one-on-one session with a team member, focused on aligning goals and methodologies. The core of this partnership is the establishment of a secure data-sharing protocol, focused on already existing templates we have around peer-to-peer sharing and research-sharing.
Contributors are provided access to a shared Google Drive sheet, where they can upload data securely. The access to this sheet is meticulously controlled, ensuring that only designated members from the contributing organization and our team have access. This process guarantees the integrity and confidentiality of the data shared.
Our collaboration with researchers is a testament to our commitment to data application for social good.
The onboarding process for researchers is a collaborative effort, where we actively pair them with relevant data sets.
A prime example of this is our collaboration with VUB, a university in Brussels, specifically the lab of Vincent Ginnis and his doctoral candidate Carmen. We facilitated their access to applicant grant proposal data This step is crucial and is managed through a shared agreement template, ensuring all parties are aligned and consent to the data usage.
Funders are pivotal to the sustainability and expansion of our projects. As of now, Philanthrobotics lacks a formal onboarding process for funders, but we do maintain an interest form. However, envisioning such a process, it would likely encompass several key steps:
Initial Consultation: Understanding the funder's vision, goals, and expectations.
Alignment of Interests: Matching the funder’s interests with ongoing or upcoming projects.
Transparency and Reporting: Establishing clear communication channels for project updates, financial transparency, and impact reporting.
Engagement Opportunities: Providing opportunities for funders to engage with the projects and see their contributions in action.
Feedback Mechanism: A structured process for funders to provide feedback and suggestions.
The onboarding of partner organizations into Philanthrobotics is a meticulously crafted process, reflecting our commitment to collaboration, data security, and social impact. As we evolve, our processes will continue to adapt, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of data-driven philanthropy.
